Meet our Owners, Kristopher & Sarah Larson

Sarah and Kristopher are dedicated to providing exceptional products and impeccable service in a fun, friendly and professional way that our customers will remember. Both are native Vermonters going back five generations. Their values are reflected in how they treat their customers and employees each and every day. They are both actively involved in the day to day operations at Otter Creek Awnings.

Owner & President

Prior to ownership, Kristopher worked at Otter Creek and held the role as Sales Manager. He still leads the sales and design team to much success and enjoys seeing both residential and commercial projects come to life. Kristopher believes the company’s reputation as Vermont’s premier awning company is attributed to the employees who work at Otter Creek Awnings. When Kris isn’t in the office he enjoys spending time on Lake Champlain with his wife Sarah on their antique wooden boat. You can also find him landscaping and birdwatching as he loves to spend time outdoors. Email Kris

Sarah is a graduate of St. Michael’s College with a degree in Business Administration. She admires the flawless reputation that Otter Creek has held over the years and strives to continue the tradition. Prior to ownership at Otter Creek Awnings, Sarah worked in the Graduate Medical Education field at the University of Vermont Medical Center and People’s United Bank. Sarah believes her business acumen is a great asset that allows her to continue the smooth operations that Otter Creek Awnings clients have come to expect. When Sarah isn’t in the office, she enjoys cooking, tending to her peony gardens and playing outside with her Boxer, Luna. Email Sarah

Operations Manager

Dana Robinson is our Operations Manager at Otter Creek Awnings. Dana oversees the day to day operations of the business which includes customer service, scheduling, and oversight of our installations and services. Dana is a graduate of the University of Southern Maine with a degree in Business Administration and is a veteran to the awning industry. With well over a decade of experience, Dana started his career in awnings as an installer and advanced his way to manager of an awning manufacturing facility. When he’s not in the office, Dana enjoys coaching hockey, playing golf, outdoor recreation and spending time with his wife and two boys. Email Dana

Project Manager

Roger Reilly is our Project Manager here at Otter Creek Awnings. With this role, Roger oversees our installations, assists in awning design and completes all technical measuring for our projects. Roger owned his own construction company for many years. He brings decades of building experience to the organization along with creativity and attention to detail. In his free time, Roger enjoys boating, creating steel sculptures and spending time with his Corgi, Angelica. Email Roger

Molly is the friendly face at our front desk and is the first to take your call here at Otter Creek Awnings. She grew up in Vermont, is a recent graduate of Colorado State University and has a background in hospitality and gerontology. While not working Molly enjoys baking, making crafts and painting, spending time with her family on their boat and taking her pup Finn swimming in Lake Champlain. Email Molly

Tim has been in the awning business for nearly 40 years and his knowledge of all shading products is unmatched. He has worked closely with Otter Creek Awnings manufacturers and his knowledge affords him the best creative solution for any project. When Tim isn’t on the road, he enjoys golf with friends, playing with his Australian Shepard, Maya and a good cup of coffee. You might also spot him on the slopes in the winter time skiing with his wife and in-laws. Email Tim

Chuck aka “Chucky from Stowe” is part of the Otter Creek Awnings sales and design team. Chucky brings decades of sales experience to our team with previous careers in the automotive and real estate industries. He helped run his family’s business, Kinney Motors in Rutland, where he learned the importance of customer relationships which is a skillset he absolutely excels at. In his free time, Chucky can be found shredding the mountains on his snowboard and spending time with his friends and family in his hometown of Stowe. Email Chucky

Candace has worked with homeowners, builders and architects in the home improvement industry for many years. She is soon to celebrate her ten year anniversary with Otter Creek Awnings. Candace brings a tremendous amount of knowledge, experience and wonderful customer service to our team. As a graduate of the University of Vermont with a degree in business, she is always ready to help with a solution. When Candace isn’t on the road, she enjoys spending time with her family, her pups Maya and Maizy and traveling to warm destinations. Email Candace

Anna is our Installation Coordinator here at Otter Creek Awnings. Her background in warehouse management serves her role well here as she wears many hats from placing orders, to receiving shipments and scheduling. Anna approaches her position with kindness and grace and is likely the person you’ll speak to when scheduling an awning installation or service. Trevor is one of our awning crew leaders. Trevor started at Otter Creek Awnings as an Installer and moved into a Lead Installer role as his awning and construction knowledge flourished. Trevor brings wonderful customer service skills and a friendly, always positive personality to our team. In Trevor’s free time outside of work, he enjoys attending music festivals, playing hockey and skiing in the wintertime at Middlebury Snowbowl.

Collin is one of our Lead Installers and comes to Otter Creek Awnings with experience in both the construction and restaurant industries. Collin’s enthusiastic and friendly personality serves our client’s well and he’s always up for a challenge with a smile on his face. While not at work, Collin enjoys hiking, camping and watching baseball.

Dalton is one of our talented Installers with experience in the building and restaurant industries. He moved to Vermont from lowa and enjoys seeing the beautiful sites while out on the road with the crews. Dalton’s calm, respectful and professional demeanor are wonderful attributes that he brings to our team. While not at work, Dalton enjoys the ever-popular Magic: The Gathering card series and cooking, especially grilling!

Anthony, also known as Twon, grew up in Florida and is part of our Installation team. Twon has experience in the construction industry and in his free time helps on his family’s dairy farm. When Twon isn’t working, he enjoys celebrating life’s milestones with family and friends, dirt biking and spending time with his two dogs.

We have seasonal workers that help out perhaps for one season or more. While we have a great team of dedicated full time workers we also have wonderful seasonal workers as well. Every year we get a great group who come and work hard at installing in the sun and rain. We are extremely lucky to have them on our team for the busy season!
