Otter Creek Awning recently joined the Burlington Business Association, a non profit organization in Burlington, Vermont whose mission is to support and promote the economic vitality of Burlington. “Although Otter Creek is not located right in Burlington, you need to just stroll down Church Street to see all the awnings to know how important Burlington is to our awning business.”, explains Todd Warren, President and Owner of Otter Creek Awnings.
The BBA’s main functions fall into four categories, explains BBA Executive Director Kelly Devine, “Our communications are information based and we try to be the eyes and ears of what is going on in Burlington. We sponsor education based networking events and are an advocate and voice of business in Burlington, working closely with the Mayor and City Department heads. And we work on specific projects like the Burlington Bike Path and City Hall Park.”
Kelly Devine affirms Otter Creek Awnings decision to become a member and encourages other businesses to consider joining “Burlington is a huge economic driver in the state and for Chittenden County.” Just click on the link to BBA for more information about membership.
